MARISSA RASMUSSEN
Marissa Rasmussen has been the Executive Director at Wren Theatre since 2024. She’s also the Children’s Program Coordinator at Randolph College for the Performing Arts. Directing credits including “Peter Pan,” “Sheranthropes,” and “The Neighbourhood.” Assistant Director credits “Little Women”.
She has also directed and produced her original work, “The Ultimatum.” Marissa’s extensive involvement spans various esteemed theater establishments such as Original Kids, University Players, University of Toronto, and Fridge Door Live, where she directed a traveling production. Beyond the stage, Marissa has appeared on screen in feature films like “The Lurker,” “Jackknife,” and
“A Night with Nathan.”
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and training in Laban, Chekov, and Viewpoints, Marissa advocates for collaboration and embraces the transformative power of experimentation. Her philosophy: try everything and anything because you never know what will turn into magic
